From September 30 to October 2, MBTM had the honor of welcoming more than one hundred international journalists for an exceptional event: the Mercedes-Benz Driving Experience.
Over the course of three days, our site became a hub for meetings and exchanges between journalists, partners, and brand representatives. The highlight of the event was the presentation of the new generation of electric trucks, namely the eActros 400.
The event kicked off with a press conference, led by Achim Puchert, Head of Mercedes-Benz Trucks, and Thorsten Schuhmacher, Director of MBTM.
Journalists had the opportunity to discover the latest models in the range, with a strong focus on electric vehicles, perfectly illustrating Mercedes-Benz Trucks’ commitment to electromobility.
Participants then had the chance to test the trucks on the road—a unique experience that allowed them to appreciate the trucks’ performance, driving comfort, and capabilities tailored to the needs of modern transport.
Another highlight of the event was the factory tour. Journalists were able to explore behind the scenes of production and gain insight into the scale of engineering work behind each vehicle. It was also an opportunity to (re)discover the extensive product portfolio of CTT/MBTM, including trucks designed for heavy-duty transport and much more.
Beyond announcements and demonstrations, the Driving Experience provided a valuable opportunity for meaningful exchanges between Mercedes-Benz Trucks experts and the international press. This meeting helped strengthen the visibility of CTT and MBTM while reaffirming our role as a pioneer in the transformation of road transport.
With this event, MBTM once again demonstrated its ability to combine innovation, expertise, and a forward-looking vision. The Driving Experience, a major milestone for MBTM, reflects the company’s commitment to supporting its customers and partners in the transition toward more sustainable mobility.
