On June 5, MBTM invited all of its employees, from production to support functions, to a day dedicated to team cohesion.
Already held last year, this initiative reflects MBTM’s commitment to building a work environment where everyone can express themselves, put forward ideas, and contribute to collective success. It also aims to encourage exchanges between teams and to sustainably strengthen cross-functional collaboration.

The day began with a friendly breakfast, followed by several key activities:
- A workshop on the factory’s competitiveness provided an opportunity to openly discuss MBTM’s current challenges and gain a better understanding of how the company operates.
- Another workshop dedicated to the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) continuous improvement project, enabled staff to become actively involved. In a spirit of dialogue and collaborative development, numerous concrete suggestions for improvements relating to day-to-day work were put forward.

The lunch break featured a barbecue organized by the company, bringing together nearly 550 employees in a convivial atmosphere.

The afternoon continued with cross-departmental discovery activities. Production teams, in particular, had the opportunity to visit the pipe bending activity as well as several support departments.
These visits helped to:
- better understand the specific challenges of each area,
- develop a comprehensive view of the site’s activities,
- foster dialogue and cooperation between teams.
Very positively received, this day highlights the importance of such collective moments in strengthening relationships, boosting engagement, and contributing to each individual’s well-being in the workplace.
